Got Gout? Looking for does & don't some tips & supplements to aid you....

Insulin resistance DOES raise uric acid levels and can cause gout. Fructose causes many problems but, is a main contributor in gout Fructose also increases the production of purines and increases the production of lactic acid, which inhibits the excretion of uric acid by the kidney.


Some of my thoughts around how to jump start recovery and reduce flare up:






❤️ Whole Foods

❤️Vitamin C - Lemon & Lime Juice

⛔ Avoid Sugar ❤️Control your protein

❤️ Fermented foods ❤️ get some exercise

❤️ Macros: Fat 70%, 20% protein and 10% Carbs

⛔ avoid alcohol

⛔Limit Fasting

❤️ Stay hydrated️ :drink 1/2 your body weight in ounces per day (not during meals)




Focus on building a long-term plan and figure out how to stick to it daily. The

closer you reach perfection with the list above, the faster the healing



What to include in your diet:

❤️ Add Vitamin C (1-2 grams per day)

❤️ Avocado: It is high in vitamin E, an anti-inflammatory

❤️ Water - water with Lemon or Lime Juice (sparkling water)

❤️ Coffee - if low carb, add a "Fat Coffee" in the morning

❤️ Add fermented foods (yogurt, sauerkraut and kombucha)

❤️ Add Apple Cider Vinegar, Coconut Vinegar, pickles

❤️ Nuts

❤️ Citrus Fruits: Grapefruit

❤️ Bone Broth & Gelatin (no added sugar)


Supplements that can aid


❤️Quercetin supplements with Bromelain

❤️C0Q10: 400 mg per day (morning). Anti-inflammatory (take at breakfast)

❤️Magnesium glycinate - 400 MG at bedtime (I recommend daily for everyone)

❤️Bone Broth: Adding 1 cup of bone broth in the morning for gut health

❤️️Vitamin C - 1,000-2,000 mg per day

❤️ 200 MG Resveratrol (with food)

❤️ Grapeseed Extract

❤️ 200mg potassium 2x per day (I take morning and evening)


❤️GLA:

❤️Woman - Evening Primrose oil 1-3 x per day

❤️Borage Oil for Men

⛔Avoid extra Niacin (sometimes in Vitamin B Supplements)

 

What you should Avoid


⛔ Certain Seafood: Mussels Scallops, Squid, Shrimp, Oysters, Crab and Lobster

⛔Don't drink juices: These are high in sugar

⛔Avoid processed foods: with fructose, corn syrup, high in sugar, honey and other fructose
