About the Recipe

Stuffed mushrooms are great as a side dish, entertaining, Sunday football or a dinner party. Simple and quick to make, use your favorite ingredients


❤️12 stuffing mushrooms

❤️Blue Cheese


❤️Onion, Garlic, Chives

❤️Peppers (Any bell pepper)

❤️Red Wine (optional)

Note you can swap blue cheese for any other cheese....


❤️Remove stems from mushrooms and set caps aside; discard stems or save for another use.

❤️Cut bacon into small pieces and saute until tender

❤️Cut the mushroom stems, onions, garlic and saute in the bacon grease until all combined.

❤️Add the blue cheese and turn off the heat.

❤️ Stuff into mushroom caps until full

❤️Place in a baking pan (I like to add a little broth or wine to the bottom of the pan

❤️Top each cap with extra bacon bits, blue cheese and chives

❤️Sprinkle with remaining bacon bits. Bake, uncovered, at 375° for 18-22 minutes or until mushrooms are tender.
