Scallops with Lemon Cream Sauce with Bacon

About the Recipe

This light, quick and easy recipe is great for lunch, dinner or entertaining


❤️1 lb of Scallops (3-4 per person)

❤️2 slices of bacon

❤️3 tablespoons butter

❤️ Heavy Cream or Half & Half

❤️Chopped onion, finely chopped

❤️2 tsp of garlic

❤️1 medium lemon, Juice half

❤️sea salt & ground pepper, to taste

❤️grated parmesan cheese


❤️Pat the scallops dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.

❤️Heat a large, cast iron or stainless steel skillet over medium-high heat and add chopped bacon. Saute the bacon until almost done and there is a good portion of grease in the pan

❤️Sear scallops for 2 to 3 minutes per side, until browned and scallops are cooked through. Remove scallops from pan to a plate.

❤️Add Butter to skillet and let melt. Stir in garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Squeeze in the juice of half the lemon, then add the scallops back to the pan and top with parsley.

❤️Once hot, add the heavy cream to the pan and simiar until a thick consistency

❤️Serve with grated parmesan cheese and extra lemon wedges.
